Overview

We are happy to Introduce,   Polytechnic  Instit ute  of  Portalegre  (IPP)   ,  the first Portuguese public higher education  institution certified for quality as a whole in training, research and scientific and technological development, community services, social services and social responsibility, according to the standard NP EN ISO 9001: 2008 by the Portuguese Association for Quality Certification (APCER).

·  IPP is a member of the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators, Currently occupying one of its vice-presidencies.

· IPP has a Research Center with a multidisciplinary focus, Particularly in the main two research lines: Sustainable   Systems in Energy, Agriculture and Environment,  and Social Intervention, Education and Health Studies.

· IPP has about 250 staff.
