France : France

About the
Institution : SKEMA
Business School is a school created by the merger of two French
schools, CERAM Business School and Groupe ESC Lille in
2009. CERAM
Business School and ESC Lille were
respectively founded in 1963 by the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce and in 1892 by
Lille Chamber of Commerce. The school name, SKEMA, is
derived from the Greek, skhêma (shape, figure, formation of an object) meaning
schema in Latin. It also stands for the initial letters of "School of
Knowledge Economy and Management". SKEMA business School now operates
from six different sites: in France (Lille, Paris La Défense and
Sophia Antipolis), China (Suzhou), in the USA (Raleigh, NC) and in Brazil (Belo
Horizonte). The school offers Bachelors and Masters programs. The school is
ranked 25th in the Financial
Times Master in Management 2015 ranking. The Master of Financial
Markets & Investments is ranked 6th worldwide.
