About
Poland: Poland officially
the Republic of Poland is a country in Central
Europe, bordered by Germany to

the country. Poland is a representative democracy, with a president as a head of state
whose current constitution dates
from 1997. Poland is a peaceful country. In recent years, Poland has

affairs, supporting and establishing friendly relations with other European
nations and a large number of 'developing' countries.
About the University:- The highly
respected University of Lodz is one of the leading institutions of
higher education in Poland. It was established in 1945. The 12 faculties of the
University provide programs in 76 fields of study and 160 specializations. The
University of Lodz is a fully accredited, state-owned, traditional University.
A range of BA, MA,
and postgraduate courses held in English as a language of instruction are
offered to Polish and overseas students. The library of the University of Lodz
is one of the biggest and most modern academic libraries in Central
Europe. About
10,000 students complete their programs at the University of Lodz every year.
