IELTS Requirement:

• For degree level study (undergraduate and postgraduate), the minimum entry requirement is overall 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each band.
• Postgraduate Law (LLM):  Minimum requirement of IELTS 7.0 (no equivalent)
• Undergraduate and Postgraduate Journalism:  Minimum requirement of IELTS 7.5 (no equivalent)
• Postgraduate MA Creative Futures and Undergraduate BA(Hons) Creative Writing: Minimum requirement of IELTS 6.5*.

Merit Scholarships:

Available to international students enrolling for the first time on campus in September 2016 or January 2017. 

The Merit scholarships will be awarded automatically on application to the University as follows: 

Undergraduate: Automatic £1,000 Scholarship for applicants who meet the published entry requirements.

Postgraduate taught:

Automatic Scholarship as follows:

Applicants with results equivalent to UK First Class degree: £2,000
Applicants with results equivalent to UK 2:1 degree: £1,500
Applicants with results equivalent to UK 2:2 degree: £1,000
